Anzac Day Services @ Meeniyan

9:15am – Assemble for a 9:30am March to the Cenotaph
In 2024, the community was advised that that the Meeniyan RSL would be closing and all memberships transferred to Leongatha or an RSL of choice.
2025 is the last year the Meeniyan RSL will run the ANZAC Day Commemoration Service & March.
We are requesting our community to attend, lay a wreath and it would be great if you could march.
To our MDU & Stony Creek F & N Clubs, it would be appreciated if some Senior and Junior members would march in your colours.
We believe Meeniyan has held a well-attended and most respectful service with great support from our community.
Let us acknowledge the many decades of Meeniyan & District RSL with a well-attended service.
We hope that ANZAC Day and Remembrance Services continue in Meeniyan by forming a small ANZAC Day Organising Committee.
The service will be scaled back as likely no road closure, or Defence Forces in attendance.
When: Anzac Day 25th April from 9:15am
Where: Cenotaph, Whitelaw St, Meeniyan 3956. (Opposite the IGA supermarket)
