Maree Blore and Chris Beehag Art and Craft Gallery @Leongatha

The Leongatha Art and Craft Gallery has a new exhibition, native flora and fauna. Our current feature artist is Maree Blore. Maree works mainly in watercolour and also in alcohol ink. Gelli plate printing and cyanotype prints. Her artwork, cards and bookmarks are beautiful and well sort after. Our feature artisan is Chris Beehag. Chris creates sculptural vessels made with hand dyed fabrics and specialises in detailed free motion machine embroidery in 2D and 3D formats, often representing native fauna. We’d love to see you at the Leongatha Gallery. Opposite the Leongatha Post Office, up the stairs under the dome!

The Leongatha Art & Craft Gallery sells original art and craft works, which are created by talented members in South Gippsland and surrounding areas.

Visit the gallery and gift shop and browse through a large selection of art and craft items, produced in a wide variety of techniques. These include: paintings, prints, books, pottery, ceramics, jewellery,  photography, woodwork, glassware, knitting, fibre and textile art, handcrafted cards, plus many more original and whimsical gifts.

When: Mon to Fri 10 am to 2pm. Sat 10 am to 1pm (Hours may vary subject to the availability of volunteers).
