My Sister Jill by Offshore Theatre @ Berninneit, Cowes

‘My Sister Jill’ is a universal tale of the Australian spirit set against the backdrop of 1950s to 70s suburban Melbourne.
This play is a powerful coming-of-age story about Christine, the youngest of five siblings, who idolises her father and is fascinated by his wartime experiences. Her older sister Jill, meanwhile, doesn’t quite share the same sentiments.
As the intensity of the Vietnam War looms, the stories slowly start to lose their shine and war threatens to break a new generation apart.
Offshore Theatre will be performing ‘My Sister Jill‘ at the beautiful Cowes Cultural Centre, Berninneit – Millowl, as part of the new theatre’s 1st birthday celebrations.
