We are a Community Radio Station run by volunteers
Located south-east of Melbourne in the State of Victoria, Australia.
We predominantly cover the rural & regional areas of South Gippsland & Bass Coast Shires, but also parts of the Baw Baw, Cardinia, Casey, Latrobe, Mornington & Wellington Shires.
The major towns in these regions are Cowes, Foster, Inverloch, Korumburra, Lang Lang, Leongatha, Mirboo North, San Remo, Wonthaggi and Yarram.

South Gippsland Radio 3mfm Inc (trading as South Coast FM) is an Incorporated Association & a Registered Charity.
Operations are overseen by a Board of Management, elected by financial members at the Annual General Meeting.

Specialist programs cover Country, Jazz, Celtic, Classical, Blues, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, Heavy Metal, New Release Indie and much more.
The listening area encompasses a region of 41,000 square kilometres bounded by Phillip Island in the west, Lang Lang, Mirboo North and Boolarra to the north, Yarram to the east and Wilsons Promontory in the south.
It includes the South Gippsland & Bass Coast Shires and areas of Cardinia and Wellington Shires. The major towns in this region are Cowes, Inverloch, Foster, Korumburra, Leongatha, San Remo, Wonthaggi and Yarram.
There are over 70,000 permanent residents in our listening area, this number is rapidly growing and swells significantly in coastal areas at holiday times, particularly over Summer
