45th Anniversary of Wonthaggi Underwater Hockey Club

Throughout July 2025, Wonthaggi Under Water Hockey Club is putting the call out to all past members as we have our 45th Anniversary on September 6th at the Wonthaggi Gold Club.

Our club is looking for any memorabilia that you may have, uniforms, photos, old trophies, old equipment that we could display. on the night. Please call Karl (refer below).

We would also like all past and present members to come along and join us for our 45th celebration reunion on the 6th of September if you are interested, please lock in the date and details will be available soon.

Bit of history:

Wonthaggi Underwater hockey club have been playing Underwater Hockey at the Wonthaggi pool since 1980 when the pool first opened, we are proudly Victoria’s biggest and most successful club with a majority of our players competing at state and world level over the last 45 years.

We are proudly celebrating our 45th anniversary at the Wonthaggi golf club on the 6th of September from 6pm. We would like to invite all players from the past 45 years to attend. We will also be celebrating new life members. The anniversary dinner is run on the Saturday night of our club’s yearly Wonni 4s competition with participants from all over Australia over the two days.
