There are 10 Australia Day events happening in South Gippsland this Australia Day (Monday 26 January 2026).

From yummy breakfast gatherings to joyful ceremonies, there is a welcoming community event for everyone.

Dumbalk – Australia Day BBQ at Dumbalk Memorial Park from 6.30pm.

Foster – Australia Day activities outside the Foster and District Historical Museum from 1.00pm.

Kongwak – Australia Day breakfast at the Kongwak Public Hall from 8.30am.

Korumburra – Australia Day BBQ and activities at Coleman Park from 11.00am.

Leongatha – Australia Day morning tea and citizenship ceremony at McIndoe Park from 8.30am.

Meeniyan – Relaxed Australia Day celebration at Tanderra Park from 9.30am.

Mirboo North – Australia Day celebration and morning tea at Baromi Centre from 10.30am.

Tarwin Lower – Australia Day BBQ at the Long Table (Tarwin River Boat Ramp) from 12.00pm.

Venus Bay – Australia Day breakfast at the Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club from 9.00am.

Welshpool – Australia Day family day at the Welshpool Park from 11.00am.
