Barrithbarrith Gathering Place – First Nations Community Yarn
Please join us for a yarn about our project to help establish a Gathering Place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members living on the Bass Coast.
This will be a safe place to have your stay. Our independent consultants Karen & Wendy will facilitate the conversation.
We want to explore with you why a Gathering Place is important, what it could look like, what types of programs, services and event could be held there and where it should be located.
Who should come along? If you are a First Nations person currently living on the Bass Coast, we’d love to see you there.
Two sessions will be held:
Thursday 29th May 4pm-6pm Wonthaggi Town Hall Foyer, 14 Bailleu Street East Wonthaggi
Saturday 31st May 10am – 1pm Koala Conservation Centre, Gurrborra Bik Bik Room, 1810 Phillip Island Road, Rhyll
