Travel through the breathtaking coastal and hillside scenery of the Bass Coast, with gardens spanning iconic locations like Cowes, Cape Woolamai, Coronet Bay, Kilcunda, Wonthaggi, Inverloch, and many more.
A weekend of beauty and inspiration showcasing edible gardens across Bass Coast.
16 gardeners across Bass Coast shire will open their gardens, donating their time and effort.
Chat with expert gardeners and learn how to grow your own food.
The event aims to encourage people to ‘grow their own’, thereby saving money, and food miles, and reaping the physical, mental and social benefits of gardening!

We are seeking volunteers for 3 hours shifts (10-1 or 1-4) on 8 or 9 February. Your role will be to assist gardeners with visitor check-ins. We also need volunteers to assist before and after the event with street sign assembly, erection and dismantling.
Volunteers will receive a free admission ticket to the other open food gardens.
When: Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February 2025. 10am to 4pm each day
Where: Various venues
Entry cost: $25 for all gardens or $5 per garden. Children under 16 FREE
