Blacksmith demonstrations @ State Coal Mine, Wonthaggi

The Friends of the State Coal Mine invite you to see a Blacksmith Demonstration.

He is located at the Blacksmith Shop demonstrating his wonderful skills every 2nd Sunday of the month..

Because of his family connection to the State Coal Mine, he is able to provide you with information about the Blacksmiths who provided care for the Pit Ponies over many decades.

If you haven’t visited the State Coal Mine in recent times, it’s probably a perfect opportunity to put this adventure on your Bucket List.

Visit the State Coal Mine to view the many historic buildings that are cared for by the Friends of the State Mine Volunteers.

You will definitely not be disappointed when you are visiting and taking time out of your busy time tables.

While you’re there, treat yourself to a coffee, cake or a meal at the State Coal Mine Cafe.
