This Sunday is Clean Up Australia Day and there are several events scheduled in South Gippsland & Bass Coast for those who want to join the community & get involved.

- Kilcunda. Killy foreshore cleanup. Kilcunda Foreshore rotunda @ 10am
- Temby Point – Beach Tidy. Marine Rd. Sunday 2 March. 10am
- Port Welshpool from 9.00am, meeting outside the Rusty Gurnard Hotel (85 Lewis Street).
- Venus Bay from 8.30am, meeting at the Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club (Beach 1 Car Park)
- Wonthaggi. Bass Coast Rail Trail in central Wonthaggi. Sunday 2 March 10am – 12pm
