CWA Toe Up Sock Knitting Workshop @ Ruby
Have you ever wanted to knit socks, but felt intimidated?
Have you acquired a one-of-a-kind skein of hand-dyed yarn that you are unsure how to use in case you don’t have enough to finish?
Come along and learn how to knit socks from the toe up – it’s a perfect Summer project with slow paced delivery and a good excuse to sit in the shade with a cool drink.
Not intended for complete beginners, you should know the basics of casting on, binding off, stocking stitch and basic increases. You will need double pointed needles or circular needles in the right size for your yarn – 100gm is usually enough for a pair.
Light afternoon tea will be available. Hall is wheelchair accessible.
When: Mondays in January 2026. 2pm until 5pm
