Pre 1960’s Wedding Dress Display @ State Coal Mine, Wonthaggi

The Wedding Dress Display at the State Coal Mine is located in the Train Carriage. The Wedding Dresses have a past history connection to the Coal Miners who worked at the State Coal Mine for many decades. The display also includes many other Bass Coast Region’s community Bride dresses and apparel. The Wedding Dress display is a must to view because it enhances the beautiful skills and needlework of the dressmakers of the time. The display will be at the State Coal Mine over the next 2 months.

When: Opening every Saturday & Sunday from 28th June to 24th August. 11.00am-2.00pm

Where: State Coal Mine – Wonthaggi

Entry cost: Free for all visitors to enjoy
