Remembrance Day Service @ Wonthaggi
Note: 2026 details yet to be confirmed. Contacting the event organiser is recommended.
Remembrance Day will be observed by the broadcast of the Last Post on the towns P.A. system before a minute silence to acknowledge, honour and remember those who have served our country.
This will be followed by three short blasts from the State Coal Mine whistle in addition to the normal whistle blast at midday.
When: 11th November commencing at 10.30am.
