South Gippsland Gemstone and Lapidary club are holding a Gemshow

We will have displays of local geology and what you can expect to find.

Faceting demo and polishing of rough sapphires by skin polishing.

There will be fossils, rocks at all different stages done by members.

Lots of items to purchase all made by members, all different and unique.

Fundraising Raffle.

The South Gippsland Gemstone & Lapidary club started in 1971.

We meet in South Gippsland every Monday 10am to 2pm and every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 20am to 2pm. New members are always welcome.

Our club members enjoy trips looking for various stones. These are usually day trips.

We cut, shape and polish various stones with terrific results. We also wire wrap stones, make cabachons for setting.

We do geological learning on what we can find and what stone is that with our geologist.

We make informative display framed pictures. Gem trees, necklaces.

Learn about Faceting and skin polish stones by hand.
