New Sales Manager, New Shows & New Presenters
We have a new Sales Manager as Chris has taken up another role at the station.
Why do we need a Sales Manager? Because sponsorship advertising by local businesses keeps us on air!
Jess is from Wonthaggi, and has worked in a number of local businesses since her time at Wonthaggi Secondary.
Jess is also a local musician and singer which will help make the sponsorship advertising sound great on the radio!
If you have a business that you are part of, please contact Jess, she has some great deals available now to get your message out.
“A rhythm section provides the underlying rhythm, harmony and pulse from which the rest of the band can build and carry the melody.”
For lovers of roots, soul, R&B, blues, country or rock ‘n’ roll music, all great music brings to you a feeling. A feeling delivered by that combination of what makes you move to beat and hum that tune.
The Rhythm Section aims to explore artists and their influences. We’ll do that listening to their music and stories and look for the linkages and inter-connectedness of it all.
Like a big melting pot, when combined with right ingredients, music magic can happen. Wind out of Monday evening and into the rest of the week with some music that we promise will be good for the mind and the soul.

Comedy with a cup of tea is what this man is! Tim has successfully traversed the comedy world, leaping from sell out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to hosting top rating radio breakfast shows to appearing on television shows such as The Comedy Company, the Panel and Discover Down under. Tim lives in Korumburra South and spends a lot of his time looking out at Wilsons Prom.
On Monday afternoons, Phillip Island’s Campbell Marshall will keep you entertained and informed all with great music from then and now!
He has lived on Phillip Island for thirty years & worked in the service & tourism industry. He just loves engaging with people.
In recent years his mobility has been compromised with Peripheral Neuropathy. He was looking for a suitable activity to take on… hearing 3mFM was looking for volunteers… decided to ask Big John (his cousin) about becoming a volunteer and the rest is history!
