Flashback to the 60s with James

The baby boomers music has arrived with Flashback to the 60s. Enjoy Saturdays at 6pm and repeated Sundays 9pm.

James Barrington was born in Liverpool in 1960, so the Beatles and Merseybeat would always be embedded in his blood.

He emigrated to Australia in 1977 and after 7 year in Adelaide produced his Flashback to the 60s radio program with limited success, described as ahead of its time.

James became a Program Director and programmed for 6 years, and presented the Breakfast program for 5 of those years.

Tired of rising at 3am, he walked away from radio in 1991, when his children were born.

Moving to Queensland in 1994, he rebuilt his home studio, mainly to gather dust. 3 years ago he dusted off the studio and put together his Flashback to the 60s program for a little fun, within 8 weeks, the program had gone around the world to over 100 stations.
