State Coal Mine – Mine Whistle Launch @ Apex Park, Wonthaggi

The Mine Whistle Event is to celebrate the final restoration work carried out over several months by the FSCM Volunteers Maintenance Team and many other community individuals who have provided their special skills to restore it to its former glory.
The Friends of the State Coal Mine (FSCM) & the Wonthaggi Workmen’s Club wish to invite everyone to witness the 1st Sounding of the Whistle.
Looking forward to seeing the Bass Coast community joining us on this Historic event to hear the Mine Whistle remind us each day at 12 noon to have a much needed break from our busy lives.
When: Wednesday 19th February 2025. From 11am to 1pm
