Come along and celebrate Seniors Festival with Maggie Kirkman as she talks about her book ‘Time of Our Lives: Celebrating Older Women‘.

Dr Maggie Kirkman, Snr Research Fellow in Global Women’s Health at Monash Uni., psychologist, Hearing impaired & profound disability kindergarten teacher & Author who will be talking about her latest book “Time of our Lives” : Celebrating Older Women.

The book demonstrates the rich lives led by 20 women in their 70’s, 80″s & 90’s, all from diverse backgrounds, all born before 1946, all having achieved great things in older age.

This book gives insights into how to ensure our own lifelong learning and live life to the fullest.

In May 1988, Maggie’s sister Linda gave birth to her niece, Alice, conceived from her Mother Maggie’s egg, fertilised by a sperm donor, hence being one of the first in the world of IVF Surrogacy.

Devonshire tea, coffee & tea supplied.
