Are you caring after a child or children in the absence of a family member or a friend?

Do you wish to meet others who are experiencing the same difficulties as you and can relate to your hardships without judgement?

Leongatha Community House and South Gippsland Kinship Carer Support Group understand your difficulties and invites you to join our Kinship support group.

Caregiving can make it hard to keep up with friends especially if they don’t understand your situation.

Joining a support group helps you to connect with other people who understand your position, reducing feelings of isolation and burnout that all carers may experience.

Others who understand your position can provide you with the greatest support and advice.

This group is facilitated by a professional who can give specific community resources and support for your circumstance.

When: The second Thursday of each month, 10am to 12 noon
