Mirboo North Winterfest will be held August 3-4, 2024.

Ridgway Lantern Parade on Saturday 3rd August at dusk.

The lantern parade is the nucleus of community connection that will draw participants from a diverse collection of community groups, businesses and entertainers.

To create the huge lanterns for the Ridgway Lantern Parade we host free community workshops in the lead up to Winterfest.

Suited to groups wanting to focus on a larger lantern that is built over 3-4 weeks. These were so much fun last year, so we’re pretty rapt that Margie from Douglas & Mackay is leading us through them this year too.

With a theme of Forest & Friends in reflection of the year we’ve had in Mirboo North, we pretty excited to see what comes from the community this year.

All materials supplied, except lights.

When: Saturdays. June 22nd & 29th, July 20th & 27th from 12pm to to 4pm

Where: The Grainstore, 3 Ridgway, Mirboo North 3871
