Warm up with the Mirboo North Winterfest.

Now shifted to the middle of winter, to celebrate the warmth and light that we all forge to help us through the cold and dark of winter.

A revitalized festival which celebrates fire and ice, light and art, food and drink, Winterfest also retains the beating heart of Arty Gras: its street parade.

The lantern parade is the nucleus of community connection that will draw participants from a diverse collection of community groups, businesses and entertainers.

Saturday August 6th. 4pm to 8:30pm

The Saturday is full of festival vibes with food and drink stalls operating throughout the afternoon and evening.

Begin your visit with drumming and dance workshops followed by the Ridgway Lantern Parade at dusk.

Live music with Ally Row in the Tipi will take us through until the end of the night along with the Winterfest Bar.

Stay tuned for an announcement about a very special gig at 8.45pm in the Shire Hall, that will have you finishing the night with a dance.

Sunday August 7th. 9am to 2pm

The Sunday is all about our Artisans Market. Relaxing in the Tipi with live music all day and feasting your way through the food stalls.
