About Presenter Tony Hunter:
It all started with a tea chest of records collected in Africa. I rocked up to 3RRR in 1984 and said ‘this music needs to be heard’. I was interviewed about my travels through Africa seeing bands and then offered a show. For 8 years I showcased the best of Africa with reggae, soul, funk, gospel, blues and jazz. It’s all connected! Since then, I have guested in Sydney on 2SER and in Melbourne on 3PBS. I have been collecting music for many years and my show comes from this collection.
